So, we arrive at the place of Love and Gratitude. On this page you will find links to some of the projects and people that I love and respect, that I draw inspiration from and choose to support in whatever way that I am able. Of course, there are many worthy people and projects in this world that could be added to the list, and the list will most likely grow over time. These are just a sample that are close to my heart, and that all require support in their own way to be able to continue offering the valuable service that they give to the planet, its plants, animals, and people.
If you are interested in learning more about any of these, then Google knows some things, but I am also happy to share more, so, be in touch if you like and I will be more than happy to share some more information from a personal point of view.
I am happy to share that in May 2025 we opened a Montessori / Waldorf inspired play room for the children of our community here in Pisac, Peru. The intention was initially to provide an inspirational space for children to learn and to play without the overabundance of plastic toys that proliferate here, there and everywhere. However, this space has now grown into a housing a Montessori / Waldorf inspired school for 10 children between the ages of 2 and 6, and next year I shall be taking a more active role in the guidance of the school and curriculum. I am already committed to be the Music and English teacher for the Summer School period which runs from January through March 2026, and expect this teaching role to continue throughout the next school year with some breaks for when I am on tour. Full circle some might say, or in the lines of my song, AYNI - "So, we're paying it back and we're passing it on for the generations yet to come, with all of our heart, with all of our soul, all of our mind, to become whole, to become whole."
We do have an ongoing crowdfund for this project, named Sacha Wawa - as even our initial building costs ran to around $25,000 and after 6 months open we are still not yet breaking even on a regular weekly basis. Any and all support would be gratefully received to help us ensure the space stays open, afloat, and available to the children ( and parents ). I shall post the link to the crowdfund here where you can find more information. Also, if anyone is planning to visit us and has skills in this area, then please be in touch if you wish to help out in some way. Here's the link… https://gofund.me/a3ed0f0b8
The Bahuaja Conservation Area is a Peruvian Amazon conservation project and ECO-LODGE that I support and visit in the Madre de Dios region of Peru. The project began in 2013 with the acquisition of 132 hectares of pristine Amazon forest with the purpose of helping the preservation of this region and it's bio-diversity. Of these 132 hectares, 100 are untouchable and solely dedicated to conservation. The other 32 are multi-use, where in addition to developing various organic crops, there are several other innovative projects underway. It is possible to visit this Eco-Lodge and learn many things about the jungle and what threatens this delicate eco-system that is so vital for the continuity of all life on this planet. This project requires continued financial support in order to maintain the area and safeguard it from illegal poachers and loggers. If you wish to donate or visit, then please write to me and I will guide you through the process and give any assistance or advice that I am able to... with love.... http://www.bahuaja.org

Please note: I am not withdrawing my support of these tree planting organisations, but would recommend anyone and everyone to research the organisations and ensure that they are actually doing this work with integrity and planting appropriate trees in appropriate places. Or, better still, support a local project or space holder such as Bahuaja Conservation Area, where they are dedicated to not only planting, but protecting ancestral medicinal plants.
