Lyrics are the living, beating heart of the songs I write. Originally, once upon a time, in a country far, far away, I began playing the guitar as a means to convey the message I wished to make, and still this prayer continues to gather momentum.
At the request of friends, I am publishing the lyrics and some chord progressions to the albums that have been recorded so far with the hope and prayer that they help in the enjoyment and understanding of what is being said / sung. There are 2 options, EPUB and PDF, depending on which suits you better.
If the file does not open for you, please write to me at miskitakiy@protonmail.com and I will send it to you in another format. If you wish to know the chords or lyrics for songs that are not given, then also, please write to me. You will find that, generally, I am a pretty obliging man. It is always an honour that people are interested in the words or the chords, wishing sometimes to learn to play or sing the song, and I am more than happy to share what comes through the channel of creativity. However, if the song is an icaro, such as PUCA PUCA, then the process will most likely be different as icaros are most usually passed to a direct student in a specific manner. Thank you for understanding this, in a world in which many do not appreciate the depth of an icaro, where it comes from, how it is transmitted, how it operates, and what it is for - choosing simply to acquire songs / icaros via YouTube and Spotify with no real understanding.
My request is that, in keeping with the traditional manner of passing songs ( was usually made with a request, a gift of tobacco or something of other value or use, and a potentially long wait ) - albeit in a non-traditional world - if you do wish to learn to play / carry any of these songs into a ceremonial setting, please write to me and introduce yourself. Chances are, I can assist you with the learning process in some way, and I also like to know who is carrying these songs, where, and how.
